Before founding Cleren, Heather was Chief Data Officer at Accelerant Holdings, where she shaped the firm’s data strategy, built data intelligence as a core enabler of BI, AI, and data protection, and served as a strategic advisor to MGA Members navigating key transformation initiatives.

Prior to shifting her focus to data, Heather led the platform design and build for global insurtech Innovisk, which enables MGAs to offer instant commercial insurance quote and bind through a human-centric broker experience and distribution APIs. Heather’s 17+ years of experience spans the global value chain including leading business, technology and transformation solutions at Liberty Mutual, Crum & Forster and Brown & Brown.

Heather was nominated for the Insurance Innovators Top 100 for her work in data intelligence and is a candidate for the MIT ACE. Heather serves on the board of Fleming Re and in her free time, is a volunteer facilitator for Girls Who Code.
